We call on RCT to open our paddling pool
It's terrible that the residents of the Rhondda have to travel all the way to Pontypridd if the children are to have any free fun in the water, not everybody can afford to travel to Pontypridd.
Agorwch ein Pyllau Padlo / Open Our Paddling Pools
The summer holidays are just around the corner. Unfortunately, apart from travelling to the Lido in Pontypridd there is no longer any free water play here in the Rhondda. Before the council closed them, the paddling pools were enjoyed by the people throughout the Rhondda for generations. To give children something to do - and to keep the costs of entertaining the family down during the long summer break - we want the paddling pools up and running as soon as practically possible. We the undersigned call on Rhondda Cynon Taf Council to open our paddling pools in time for summer.
Bydd y gwyliau Haf ar ein pennau cyn bo hir, a does unman i blant y Rhondda fynd i gael hwyl am ddim yn y dŵr - heblaw eu bod am deithio'n bell i'r Lido ym Mhontypridd! Cyn i'r cyngor eu cau, bu cenedlaethau o blant y Rhondda yn mwynhau'r pyllau padlo. Fel bod gan deuluoedd ifanc y Rhondda heddiw rywle i fynd, ac i gadw costau diddanu teulu ifanc i lawr, gofynnwn bod y pyllau padlo yn cael eu hail agor cyn gynted â bo modd. Rydym ni sydd wedi arwyddo isod yn galw ar Gyngor Rhondda Cynon Taf i ail agor y Pyllau Padlo erbyn gwyliau'r Haf
